For men watching the hairline go the wrong way
Fifteen minutes a day. For the hair you’d rather keep. Drug-free.
The Exoh Regrowth Pro Cap looks like an ordinary black cap. Underneath sits a ring of 70 LEDs that bathe your scalp in 630 to 650nm red light, the wavelength studied for waking tired hair follicles. Fifteen minutes, once or twice a day. No pills, no foam, no one has to know.
- Thicker, Stronger-Looking Hair
- Less Shedding
- Healthier, Clearer Scalp
- Drug-Free & Discreet
Why the foam only half-works
Topicals sit on the surface. Light reaches the follicle.
Most hair loss starts at the root, where the follicle shrinks and the growth phase gets shorter with every cycle. A foam you rub on mostly stays up top. Red light at 630 to 650nm is absorbed further down, at the follicle itself, where the growing actually happens.
Red light is absorbed down at the follicle. Research suggests it lifts ATP, the energy the follicle cell runs on, widens blood flow to the scalp, and nudges resting follicles back into their growth phase. The cap’s blue 470nm light does a second job up top, calming the oil and bacteria behind an itchy, flaky scalp.

What the research found
Red light and hair has been tested. Properly.
This is one of the better-studied corners of red-light therapy, including double-blind trials in men. Here is the published evidence, with the journal and the number of people behind each result.
In a double-blind trial, men using red-light therapy grew 39% more hair than men using an identical sham cap, and neither group knew which one they had.
Lanzafame RJ, et al. RCT, Lasers in Surgery & Medicine, 2013;45(8):487–495.
Over 16 weeks the light group gained close to 42 hairs in every square centimetre of scalp, and the strands came in thicker too. The sham group gained less than one.
16-week double-blind, sham-controlled RCT, Lasers in Surgery & Medicine, 2020.
Pooling every randomised trial to date, low-level light therapy beat a sham device for hair density in men and women alike. The direction of the evidence is not in dispute.
Systematic review & meta-analysis of 11 RCTs, Lasers in Medical Science, 2019.

How it compares
The other options all cost you something.
Foam every day. A pill with a side-effect sheet. Or thousands of dollars and a surgery. Here is how a fifteen-minute cap lines up against the usual routes.

Fifteen minutes, once or twice a day
Put it on. Get on with your day. That’s it.
- Put it on like any cap. 70 LEDs sit against your scalp. It’s cordless and rechargeable over Type-C, so wear it at your desk, on the couch or making coffee. No wires, no clinic.
- Pick your mode and let it run for 15 minutes. Red light for growth, or the red-and-blue mode if your scalp runs oily or breaks out. Add the gentle vibration for a scalp massage while it works.
- Then forget about it, and stay consistent. Follicles respond to repetition, not intensity. Most men run it daily and give it a full 90 days before they judge the mirror.

Men who stopped waiting and started.
“I stayed consistent. It really is working, hard to believe really. I started balding pretty early in life and have been so paranoid. I get a second chance now!”
“I’m only 26 and my hairline was receding pretty fast. I’m glad I hopped on to red light therapy when I did.”
“I was skeptical, I really was. But look at these results. Red light therapy does work after all!”
“About 4 months in. I just wanted to say thank you!”
“I’ve been using the cap alongside the castor oil consistently for about 19 weeks now. Look at the results.”
A note on results: individual outcomes vary and are not typical, and some customers (like Mike) pair the cap with other routines. Red-light therapy works only on living follicles and needs consistent use over months, not days.
Real customers, real results
Left is before. Right is months later.
Unretouched photos our customers sent in after sticking with the cap. Same head, same camera, months apart.

Honest expectations
What tends to happen, and when.
- Weeks 1 to 3 The scalp settles first Less itch, less flaking, a scalp that feels healthier. It’s the earliest and most common thing men notice, well before anything in the mirror.
- Weeks 6 to 12 The shedding slows This is the window the research and most users point to: noticeably less hair in the drain and on the pillow, and fine new hairs at the hairline for some.
- 3 to 6 months Density you can actually see Hair only grows about a centimetre a month, so visible fullness takes a cycle. Consistent daily use is what separates the men who see it from the men who quit at week three.
The best time to start was a year ago. The second best is now.

Give it a proper go. The risk is ours.
Hair moves slowly, so the honest ask is consistency. Wear it daily and give it 90 days to really judge the mirror.
Try it risk-free for 30 days first. If the cap isn’t for you, email hi@exohwellness.com and we’ll refund you in full, no argument. Every electrical component is covered for a year on top of that.
Before you ask
The questions we get every day.
Will it work on a receding hairline?
Red-light therapy has the most evidence for thinning and diffuse loss across the top and crown, where follicles are shrinking but still alive. Temples and a hard hairline are the toughest areas for any non-surgical option, this cap included. It works with the follicles you still have, so the earlier you start, the more there is to work with.
What if I’m already bald in patches?
Light can only wake a living follicle. On skin that’s been slick-bald for years, there usually isn’t a follicle left to stimulate, so that’s not where this shines. It’s for thinning and shedding you want to hold onto and thicken, not for regrowing a bare scalp.
How long until I see anything?
A healthier, less itchy scalp comes first, often in the first few weeks. Less shedding tends to show around 6 to 12 weeks. Visible density takes 3 to 6 months, because hair only grows about a centimetre a month. Consistency beats intensity every time.
Can I use it with minoxidil or finasteride?
Yes. Light therapy works by a different mechanism, and many men stack it with a topical or a tablet. It’s also a solid drug-free option on its own. If you’re on a prescription, check with your doctor before changing anything.
Is it safe? Any side effects?
There are no drugs and no chemicals, just light against the scalp, so there’s none of the side-effect baggage that comes with the tablets. It runs at a gentle warmth. Don’t stare directly into the LEDs, and if you have a photosensitive condition or take medication that increases light sensitivity, check with your doctor first.
Red light and blue light, what’s the difference?
The red 630 to 650nm light is the one studied for follicles and growth. The blue 470nm light targets the oil and bacteria that cause an itchy, flaky or breakout-prone scalp. The cap’s modes let you run red on its own or red and blue together.
Does it really just look like a cap?
Yes, that’s the whole point. From the outside it’s a plain black cap. The LEDs sit on the inside against your scalp, so you can run a session on the train or at your desk and nobody knows it’s anything other than a hat.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Email hi@exohwellness.com within 30 days and we’ll refund you in full, no need to argue your case or return it in the original packaging.

It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, including androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss). Statements about red, near-infrared and blue light describe published research into low-level light therapy as a category; those studies used specific laser or LED devices, not this exact cap, and no clinical trial has been conducted on this product. Results vary, are not guaranteed, require consistent use over months, and depend on living follicles. Customer statements and photos are individual results, are not typical, and some reflect combined routines. If you have significant, rapid or patchy hair loss, a scalp condition, or a medical condition, see a doctor or dermatologist. Consult your doctor before use if you have a photosensitive condition or take medication that increases light sensitivity.
One last thing
Hair loss doesn’t wait. Best not to either.
Every month you think about it is a month of follicles you could have been working with. The cap is fifteen minutes and it looks like a hat. The hard part is just starting.
